Neena Tejpal is Co-founder and Director of Algebra, and an operational and creative powerhouse who has the ability to run large format live events with seamlessness, precision and grace. Good-humouredly referred to on the team as Commander-in-Chief, she has an equally keen eye for big business and the tiniest detail.
Previously, as Director and COO of THiNK – one of the world’s foremost thought leadership platforms – for three years, she oversaw the colossal operational and logistical elements of the annual 4 day event in Goa with over 70 iconic speakers from across the world; close to 40 sessions across three days; 1,500 to 2,000 guests; live music performances every night; speaker and guest lounges; an art auction; bookstores and more. Neena has also produced and run events as varied as the Summit of the Powerless, to an art auction at Bonham’s in London with MF Husain and Shah Rukh Khan painting a live canvas.
Algebra, the Arts & Ideas Club brings together a fellowship of people who believe great cities are built not just on infrastructure but a life of the mind; who understand robust and liberal societies need the oxygen of great conversation and nuanced thinking.
At a time when we are increasingly surrounded by rage and noise, Algebra is a live and continuous space for people to come together for a genuine exchange of ideas and exposure to issues; where new seeds could be sparked, fresh perspectives formed, and intelligent connections made.
Algebra – the Arts and Ideas Club is designed to host almost 35 engagements over the year with topline thinkers and practitioners from almost every discipline that impacts human affairs: politics, economy, environment, spirituality, cinema, medicine, science, technology, music, media, literature, the arts, sports, people’s movements, et al.
