Algebra takes the idea of a club – a universe of the likeminded – and expands it to new paradigms.
The key idea behind Algebra is to bring together a fellowship of people who believe great cities are built not just on infrastructure but a life of the mind; who understand robust and liberal societies need the oxygen of great conversation and nuanced thinking.
At a time when we are increasingly surrounded by rage and noise, Algebra is that unique live and continuous space where people could go for a genuine exchange of ideas and exposure to issues; where new seeds could be sparked, fresh perspectives formed, and intelligent connections made.
Algebra – the Arts and Ideas Club is designed to host over 60 conversations over the year with topline thinkers and practitioners from almost every discipline that impacts human affairs: politics, economy, environment, spirituality, cinema, medicine, science, technology, music, media, literature, the arts, sports, people’s movements, et al.
In a line, Algebra is a space where one can meet an exciting, cutting-edge spectrum of people shaping the world in different ways. Where one can test one’s ideas, challenge one’s perspectives, and build friendships. A sort of fellowship of the curious and engaged.
Algebra is everything you think a club should be. But it's unlike any other.
It's not just a space. It's a chance for intelligent connection. Where, every week, an eclectic community of urban Indians will meet an exciting range of people making, shaping, bending – and reshaping – the world.
Think an astronomer by the pool. A saxophonist on a lawn. A writer in a garden. An economist at the bar.
Think: Politicians. Scientists. Athletes. Activists. Doctors. Directors. FilmstarsFilmstars. Hackers. Entrepreneurs and environmentalists. Comedians and crusaders.
Why Arts and Ideas?
There's no shortage of restaurants and bars in the city. Movie halls and malls.
But where do you go when you want great conversation? A challenge? A discovery? An evening buzzing with ideas? A window into where the world is going?
You come to Algebra.
Friends & Lovers
As a member, you'll be invited to every Algebra event, every week.

The club is private. The numbers are limited. But the fee is modest.
We'd love to bring together people dened by mindset, not means.
Algebra is set in The Palms Town and Country Club. A fabulous four-and-half-acre space in the heart of Gurgaon where culture and cocktails mix perfectly. We'll even provide the ice (breakers).
Or lunch. Or brunch. It's up to you. We've got an Indian restaurant, a South-East Asian restaurant. Bar nibbles. Courtside smoothies. Whatever.
The Poolside Deli
We know we've already talked about food – but the Deli is special. Wood-red oven pizza. Salads. Dessert. Wine. And a cool view of the pool. Or walk a oor up to the full-service salons for men and women.
The Grass Is Always Gree
Because, you know, over four acres. Trees and grass. Birds. A poolside gazebo. One of the few places in the city you can breathe in. Breathe out.
Book a guest (or yourself, because why not) into one of our 30 elegant guest suites and they'll have access to a host of club facilities. Reservations can be made with the front desk.
But The Setting's Also Not Always Just The Palms
Every now and then, Algebra will take you places. To an auditorium for a play. A movie hall for a premiere. Out of town for a musical weekend.
